Waste Tank Cleaning Trolley

The fully automatic cleaning process

Developed for cleaning of vacuum waste tanks of different aircraft types. (ATA Chapter 38)

This GSE is designed to fulfill the Airbus maintenance procedure „Cleaning of waste tank assembly“. It is compulsory for A350 step7 onwards and usable for all other Airbus aircrafts.
The WTC1 is available as electric or Diesel version and is certified by Airbus. Due to the system control of the GSE, the cleaning process is performed autonomously. After the installation and start, a permanent observation by an operator is not required.

As cleaning fluid a mixture of water with citric acid is used in a recirculation process. After the cleaning procedure the A/C waste tank is flushed with fresh water.

Fully automatic cleaning process (no monitoring required)
Minimized contamination by germs and bacteria in the aircraft and hangar environment during the cleaning process compared to previous cleaning tasks
Implementation use during standard maintenance tasks (e.g. Line Maintenance Check)
Parallel cleaning of two waste tanks or one XXL waste tank
Included fresh water flushing to avoid remaining cleaning fluid in the system
Environmental friendliness is ensured by usage of water and citric acid as cleaning agents
