Volker Fuchs is the 2026 EY Entrepreneur Of The Year in the “Innovation & High-Tech” category

TESTFUCHS CEO to Represent Austria in the 2027 EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year Competition

Groß-Siegharts/Vienna – Volker Fuchs, CEO of the Lower Austrian aviation
technology company TESTFUCHS, is the 2026 EY Entrepreneur Of The Year. At the gala on October 16,
2026 at the Hofburg in Vienna, he received the award in the “Innovation & High-Tech” category. As the national
winner, Fuchs will also represent Austria in the EY World Entrepreneur of the Year competition, which will be
decided in early summer 2027 among winners from approximately 60 countries.

The family-owned company was founded in 1946 and is now led by the third generation. What began as a regional
business in the Waldviertel region has grown into an internationally active technology company with more than 750 employees and 13
locations in 8 countries. TESTFUCHS develops and manufactures highly specialized test systems,
ground support equipment, and components for the aerospace industry. A key strength is the high degree of vertical integration:
mechanical, electronic, and software components are developed and manufactured under one roof.

EY presented the Entrepreneur Of The Year Award for the 21st time in Austria this year. The winners
were selected by an independent jury of 17 prominent figures from the Austrian business community. In the “Innovation &
High-Tech” category, Julia Aichhorn (Dr. Aichhorn Group) as well as Anton and Markus
Hargassner (Hargassner) were honored alongside Volker Fuchs.
